2. Assistance Scheme/Program :
Grant funding for projects normally in the CDN $5,000 - 20,000 range with maximum funding for any one project of CDN $50,000

3. Criteria :
Priority is given to projects which help people help themselves, have a substantial local contribution, are well planned, do not duplicate other resources, increase the participation of women, support sound environment development and enhance good governance.

Project which aim to alleviate poverty are generally supported by the Canada Fund.
