PRIVATE SECTOR ASSISTANCE

United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO)
2. Assistance Scheme/Program :

UNIDO does not directly fund projects but provides support to the development of industry, particularly in the private sector, through a number of services. These include:

  • management advice and support

  • business planning;

  • feasibility studies;

  • technical support services and technology management; and

  • environmental assessments.

UNIDO may also assist by undertaking an investment promotion role either generically or for individual projects.
3. Criteria :

UNIDO will consider infrastructure and manufacturing projects in any developing country.
